Laurie Wevers, MA

Laurie is a new therapist in the Champlin area. She is a recent graduate of Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota with a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and has an Undergraduate Degree in Youth and Social Science from Crown College.  You will experience Laurie as a warm, energetic person who is easy to talk to and yet isn’t afraid to graciously push her clients towards holistic health of body, mind, and spirit. Laurie’s Christian faith is important to her and is open to implementing these values into the therapy experience, and at the same time respects those who don’t wish to employ these values into their individually-focused therapy experience. Laurie accepts BCBS, Preferred One and Medical Assistance insurance and will work with cash clients to come up with a fee that will work best with your financial situation. Therapeutic groups focused on teen eating disorders and sexual abuse will begin at the end of July and will continue throughout the year based on client need. She looks forward to walking through life’s trying seasons with you!
